Rebecca Enyard
Senior Marketing Coordinator
8 years
2. Can you give a summary of you career?
I graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in Middle Eastern Islamic Studies. I started my career at Zoeller as International Marketing Intern and enjoyed using my language studies to help with translations while learning more about Marketing. After 11 months, knowing I was looking for something full time, Zoeller offered me the role of Marketing Coordinator. In that position I took on advertising, rewards programs, trade shows and much more. A little over a year ago I was promoted to Senior Marketing Coordinator and under that role completed my Certified Trade Show Marketer certification. I currently handle, social and digital advertising, trade shows and events, online training and webinars, and many more general marketing tasks for Zoeller Louisville operations.
3. Can you share the most exciting project or initiative at Zoeller? Why it was so exciting?
The most exciting project I’ve worked on is my efforts to revitalize Zoeller’s trade show presence and approach to shows. I received my CTSM certification last year, but really began implementing things I took away from my classes while I was taking them. When I took over shows there was no library or catalog of what show materials we had. Currently, I run a trade show audit with supporting marketing or sales personnel every couple years to ensure materials are up-to-date, any needed repairs are made, and any old materials get recycled. I created accountability when it came to lead retrieval and following up with the leads we create for our reps at shows to ensure we’re getting our money’s worth at each event, I’ve created structure and more accountability amongst booth staff – each large show has a set of goals with metrics we aim to meet while on the show floor. There’s multiple training sessions, communications, and on-site quizzes to ensure we’re all rowing in the same direction to accomplish what we set out to achieve or come as close as we can. We have a post-show meeting as well to cover the results of those efforts, log our final metrics, and discuss successes and note opportunities for the future.
4. What do you feel is the best thing about Zoeller’s culture?
The Zoeller Louisville community is, at its core, a kind, understanding, and good-hearted group of people. I really respect and appreciate the Zoeller family’s focus and support on education and continuing education. It was my supervisor at the time that pushed me to take the CTSM certification to expand my knowledge on trade show marketing.
5. What do you like to do with your free time?
I like working out, hiking, yoga, walking or playing with my dog, vacationing with my husband, researching and planning our vacations, and finding new healthy recipes to try. I enjoy learning about different cultures and practicing languages (Spanish, French, Japanese (learning this one for a future trip), German, or Arabic). I love to read for fun or to learn something new. I enjoy shopping online searching for potential new online stores I might like. I enjoy spending time with my husband and going out on the town with him. I like crafting (working on developing skills at knitting, pottery, and sewing). I also like helping my husband work on his projects in the garage and trying to do some of my own.
