Lilly Spayd & Vincent Tuanmu
1. What is your name, current title, and number of years you have worked at Zoeller?
My name is Lilly Spayd and I’m a Marketing Coordinator. I’ve been working at Zoeller since June 2022.
2. Can you give a summary of you career?
After graduating from the University of Kentucky, I applied at Zoeller to start my career in marketing. Over the last year in a half, I’ve gained beneficial experience here. When I started at Zoeller, I was focused on international marketing to support Zoeller Canada and Zoeller Mexico/Latin America. In June 2023, I transitioned to support domestic marketing. I am currently working on social media, newsletters, PI programs, and the new website.
3. Can you share the most exciting project or initiative at Zoeller and why it was so exciting?
The new website has been a really exciting project. To me, a website is a company’s first digital impression so being a part of this project was a big deal. Our website is a great source of information for both repeat customers and new visitors so making it both user friendly and visually appealing is crucial. When it launches, it’ll be exciting to get feedback over time.
4. What do you feel is the best thing about Zoeller’s culture?
The best thing about Zoeller’s culture is the family feeling. It’s very clear how much everyone cares about one another and how willing people are to help each other. I started here knowing almost nothing about pumps, with crazy nerves about starting my first big job but never once have I felt less than or brushed off. So many people have taken the opportunity to teach me things and make me feel like an important part of the team.
5. What do you like to do with your free time?
In my free time I like to read, craft, and spend time with my friends, family, and dog.
Vincent Tuanmu
I joined Zoeller in August 2018 and started serving as the role of QA manager. After QA I joined the purchasing team and am now Operation Director at ZTW in charge of production, scheduling, warehouse and purchasing. Before Zoeller, my 20+ years working experience were mainly in the consumer electronics industry. It’s an exciting experience that I can learn more here and obtain experience in totally different industries.
Being pragmatic is my main working model and principle. I always try to find room for improvement that can help all of us in the CIP (continued improvement plan) environment. I like Zoeller’s culture because integrity is one of the most important characteristics that I believe we should have.
What I like to do in my leisure is going fishing and playing guitar.
